Good Evening Bangkok @ 1 utama

Savadeekap !

Good Evening Bangkok is part of the SEA Cuisine restaurant chain that includes Absolute Thai. The restaurant adopts a simplistic yet urban and chic theme that can be seen throughout the restaurant.
We planned  to order single plate for each of us at first, then we ordered some extra dishes, then this and that, we ended up ordered a lot. So we didn't manage to finish everything as my bro-in-law suffered from stomach upset. what a waste. But still a damn good dinner beautifully prepared and full of flavor. One of the reason I like Good Evening Bangkok is the staff are super friendly.

Strawberry juice

Starfruit juice (RM8)

Fresh coconut (RM9) - When the weather is blistering hot, there's nothing like coconut water to soothe the dryness in your throat.

Chinese Tea (RM3 per serving / RM 8 by pot)

Som Tam Thai (RM14.90) - Papaya salad. The best appetizer ever.

Tom Yum Mee Hoon (RM16) - Mee Hoon in Tom Yum seafood soup. I usually try out this dish at any Thai restaurant to see how good and authentic it is. This place did not disappoint, super hot, flavorful, and fresh.

Khow Ob Sapparod Goong (RM16) -  Pineapple fried rice with prawn topped with just the right amount of chicken floss and cashew nuts. One of my favorite dish. Thumbs up for both the appearance and the taste!

Phad Thai Goong Sod (RM16) - Stir-fried Thai noodles with prawn wrapped with egg. It's kind of too sweet for my taste. But you can make it better by adding the chili flakes over it.

Thod Man Pla (RM13.90) - Thai fish cake served with thai chili sauce {6pcs}

 Gai Hor Bai Tuey (RM14.90/4 pcs; RM17.90/6pcs) - Pandan leaves chicken served with thai chili sauce.The essence of pandan leaves lend a pleasing flavor to the boneless chicken pieces.

Gaeng Keaw Wan Kai/ Nue (RM15.90/ 17.90) - Green curry chicken or beef. It has a beautiful thick yet runny sauce consistency, smells and tastes aromatic.
