Daorae Korean BBQ (다오래)

I was craving for korean barbecue the other day, so Daorae naturally came in mind as they are only 5 minutes drive away from where I live. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived. Luckily it took just a few minutes waiting time, otherwise I would have left as the place was so smokey.
As usual, they provide various side dishes. Once we were seated the food just kept coming, I was eating nonstop until I felt like I was going to die.
We ordered Gal-bi -Sal  which is the boneless beef short rib marinated in their secret recipe daorae sauce. The other meat we ordered was Yang-nyum Dak-gal-bi  which is the skinless chicken fillets marinated in special soy sauce. Everything sounds special in the menu huh...

Bean paste soup

Seaweed

Sweet potatoes

Fish cake

Green vegetable

mayonnaise vermicelli

Korean radish

Korean pancake

Bean sprouts

Korean must have - Kimchi

The dishes we asked for 3rd refill

Fresh lettuce to wrap the meats

Gal-bi -Sal (RM58)

The beef grilled really well as you can see. Drool

Yang-nyum Dak-gal-bi (RM28)

I'm not really enjoyed all the side dishes but both the chicken and beef are tender and delicious, thanks to the special sauce they emphasize I guess... The waiters are just astounding and attentive to their customers' needs. They try their hardest to load you up with food any chance they get.
The restaurant can get smokey and you will guaranteed walk out of there smelling like BBQ, wish the vents were a little stronger to suck all the smoke out.
