Harrods, KLCC

Somehow it feels just right to be sitting down for a three tiered afternoon tea ensconced in the Harrods, KLCC. This is considered a high end afternoon tea because it was a little bit overpriced to me.

The restaurant was flooded with natural light made it a wonderful location to enjoy the english tradition of afternoon tea.
Picture on the wall added a vintage touch to the classy looking interior.
Staff was attentive but not intrusive.
Sandwiches such as smoked salmon sandwiches, roasted beef sandwiches and cucumber sandwiches were served on the bottom layer. They were good but not outstanding. I have tried a lot of scones over the years, most of them were rock hard and crumbly. But their scones were so perfectly baked.
I particularly like the blackcurrant jam and I found the jam is available from the shop for only RM26. As usual, we ordered the tea exclusively from Harrods and  a cup of coffee. Tea came by pot and refillable.
Black coffee was pretty boring, I expect they at least serve cappuccino. This coffee made me jittery and give me insomnia.

It's more filling than you would expect

RM120 for Two

Bottom layer is for finger sandwiches

Plain scones that are served warm

The scones were served with clotted cream, strawberry and blackcurrant preserves

Cakes and tartlets

Black Coffee

It's a relaxed spot to enjoy the afternoon tea. Like it but would be better if cheaper.
