Poon choi @ Restaurant LYJ (Lee Yong Jee)

Poon choi/ pun choi also known as Big bowl feast, is a traditional type of dish originating from Hong Kong. Poon choi composed of many layers of different ingredient such as pork, chicken, duck, fish, prawn, abalone, scallop and pigskin. It's often served during special occasion especially during Chinese new year in the past. But now quite a number of restaurants serve it all year round. Restaurant LYJ is a restaurant that serves award winning poon choi  and highly recommended by famous critic.
It should be eaten layer by layer, but impatient diners normally started digging downward after the first layer. It's kinda yucky, 'mat saleh' will definitely hate this.
The RM 428 meal includes poon choi, yee sang, shark-fin soup, chinese waxed meats rice (lap mei fan) and a plate of kailan to compliment the heavy meal.
Every dish was not bad especially the poon choi, the sauce was really delicious. This is the best poon choi I've ever eaten so far.
