Bistro à Table @ Section 17

Bonjour! Another classy evening is ensured at bistro a table. It situated at section 17 neighbourhood.
The foods are sophisticated but not extravagant, and of quality, may be good ingredient?!
There's no point in reviewing specific dishes here as the menu changes regularly.
Suffice to say, it's French food, freshly prepared the way it should be. You tastes the ingredients, not so addictive. Nothing to dislike but nothing that wowed me and my friends.
Portion sizes are European rather than American. A hungry person won't be happy with just a main course.
Corkage is RM80 for wine, RM120 for liquor. WTH
Setting is simple and nice, it's the place for a quiet and peacefully romantic meal.

We ended our perfect French meal with the chocolate brownie. It is a slice big only enough for 1 person but we all enjoyed every 'little bite' of it..LOL

Truffled mash potatoes (RM14)

Coddled maple syrup egg with crouton dust and Fleur de Sel (RM16)

Cannelloni of seared scallops and school prawn  in lobster bisque  and Indonesia black nut tapenade (RM62)

NZ wild-caught snapper with provincial vegetable and champagne beurre blanc (RM77)

Shreded duck conflit and Dijon papardelle (RM52)

Valrhona gnanaja chocolate brownie with Kahllua anglaise (RM16)

Overall, I think the food was ok but portions rather on the mean side. (Haha we all are China aunties)
The restaurant serves authentic french cuisine, but not all local know to appreciate it, I guess. Price are quite expensive for locals too.

We had a good time anyway...and thanks to my lovely girls for the dinner. XOXO
