Bulgogi BBQ House @ Kota Damansara

The concept of Korean barbeque has always been a favorite of mine, getting catch up with friends and sharing numerous laughs while waiting the BBQ items to get done.
Bulgogi BBQ House which situated in The Strand, Kota Damansara is run by a Korean couple.
It offers traditional and contemporary Korean cuisines including soups, stews, seafood, noodles and Korean BBQ at reasonable prices. Meal are serve with side dishes. All the accompaniments with the BBQ were well done from the potato salad thing, salad, kimchi, anchovies etc.

It's a great place to hangout with friends and the atmosphere is very jovial. However, make sure you don't have anything important to attend to afterwards, as the smoky smell of barbequed meats will stick to your clothes.

White Grape juice (RM 4.80)

Chicken Thigh/ Dak Galbi (RM 25) marinated in chili sauce - Best BBQ chicken ever

Premium beef/ Kkot Deongsim (RM 68) marinated in soy - not my favorite because I always prefer beef ribs when I go for Korean BBQ, my friend like it anyway.

Seafood Kimchi stew (RM15.50) - Not the best I ever had but not bad.

Wondermama @ bangsar village

Just popped into this lively restaurant in Bangsar village the other day. Had a lovely coffee and delicious wonder burger.
The decor is one of a kind, love the little this and that, reminded me of my childhood.
The price for the meal was almost too good to be true, ~ RM47 including tax. (20% off  all snacks and drinks from 2-6pm daily)
The seating area is well designed but they are not as comfortable as you might think. I think the chairs are designed skillfully to discourage lingering, tricky huh
Coffee is above average, not the best but certainly good...
I can hardly taste the chicken of the chicken katsu burger but it was crispy enough that made it so yummy...Prawn katsu burger is the better choice if you asked me.

October special:
  • Now serving breakfast from 8.30- 11.30am
  • New breakfast offering
  • Privilege card members get a 20% off of the breakfast items for the whole month of October 2012

Nyonya kuih -buy one free one at RM1.50- not bad

Chicken Katsu Burger (RM13.80) - consists of tomato, cucumber, lettuce, egg, tartar sauce & Tongkatsu sauce, served with fruits & choice of fries or salad.

Watch out because these burgers can get messy

Decorative flower vs. decorative and edible vege. Which one do you like?

TWG @ pavilion (2)

TWG has been flooded with patrons everytime I passed by since it opened not long ago. I believe the long queue waiting outside the restaurant caught everyone attention and reminded me of how much I enjoyed my last visit to TWG
This time round, I felt the tables were too close together and you can hear what your neighbour are going to eat and who they are arguing with at work. However, the atmosphere is still great.

We ordered Fortune afternoon set again as I thought it's good deal for such a good quality 3 tiered afternoon set at RM55 . We picked green tea mousse instead of chocolate cake which was too sweet for my liking on my first visit. Green tea mousse cake was very much better, in fact very good!

The only thing that I was not happy with was in the tea. I like the 'big' teapot covered with a gold plated warmer. Sure looks can be deceiving but when only 2 and a bit cups are obtained from then whole pot which I might add is nonrefillable....I must say it's too expensive for too little (and of course I could barely taste the diluted tea after a refill.)
.

Kissable macaron

Wagyu beef burger ( RM43) - grilled wagyu burger with lettuce, tomato and emmental cheese topped with cocktail sauce and served on a homemade bun, accompanied by matchstick potatoes and mesclum salad tossed in1837 green infused vinaigrette. It's moist, tender, juicy and irresistible.
