Tom, Dick & Harry's @ pavilion

All breakies order comes with a glass of juice and refillable coffee/tea. and the pricing is nett..isn't that great ?!!!
We were glad that we stopped by here the other day. I like the simple breakfast made with that home made touch.  On top of the food, I like the happy bustling atmosphere.

The coffee was your typical coffee.

Big breakfast (RM26)- 2 sunny side up, grilled pork sausages, bacon, baked beans, saute mushroom, fresh grilled tomatoes, golden hash brown with bread and butter (For additional awesomeness upgrade to crispy crunchy bacon -RM3 only). Delicious and very filling.

Banana pan cakes (RM16) - Yummylicious layes of pan cakes filled with sweet chocolate chips, sundried raisins and banana bits, dusted in cinnaman sugar, served with syrup, caramalised bananas and vanilla ice cream.

I tried new menu item on my second visit, it was great as well. I suppose everything on the menu is good, come and try it yourself if you don't believe it.

Steak and Eggs Breakie (RM28) - Tender Grain fed Ribeye steak served with sunny side up, golden hash brown, saute mushrooms and fresh grilled tomatoes, with beefy brown gravy on the side.

I applaud them from keeping their food in so high quality but I wasn't uberly impressed because I'm sort of used to it..LOL

Monte's restaurant & wine bar

Monte's Restaurant & Wine Bar has been a favorite among diners for more than a decade.
We tried this welcoming little place recently and had a very pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and staff can't do enough.

Mocktail Monte's dream (RM13) - delightful combination of pineapple + orange +?

Escargots (RM19/ half dozen)- baked and basted in Chablis and garlic sauce, very buttery and garlicky. Above average standard

Mango and shrimp cocktail (RM19) - served with garden fresh greens. It was a joy to eat this appetizer before main.

Pan seared cod (RM 58) - serve with ratatouille and chermoula dressing. Looks and tastes fabulous.

Spaghetti marinara (RM 31) - combination of seafood, garlic and tomato sauce. It just tasted OK to me, not terrible but not up to expectation.

It is a classic restaurant worth a visit. Service is good, not too attentive which annoys me.

The price wasn't too bad either. Perhaps not an every week kind of price, but easily a once a month treat kind of price.
I'll definitely say the worst thing about this restaurant  is trying to decide what you want to eat. Charbroiled ostrich available for RM39 is a must try !
