T Forty Two, Bangsar Village 2

I've read alot of good review about the T Forty Two since my friend suggested to have a afternoon pause at this place. I've always wondered if they taste as good as they look. It was hard to discover the place at first as we were looking for T forty Two. We managed to get the place after we had a look of the map... nowonder we couldn't get the palce, the bistro 42 we had just passed by was actually T forty 2 we were looking for.
They serve wide selection of gourmet teas and classical french cuisine with peaceful ambience...and they were well known for their afternoon tea set. For RM59.90, you get a 3-tiered afternoon set with tea coffee for 2 persons, the tea was came by pot so I suggest you to order 1 tea and coffee if you can't survive without caffein... And you can have your choice of cake from the display counter. Btw, the high tea set only available from 3pm-6pm daily.

This section was close for event when we arrived

You get all of them for RM59.90.

Sandwiches on baby cuboid loaves, I like it!

Strawberry shortcake- our choice of cake, delicious!

Display Counter

Tea was came by pot. It's Red ?? I don't rmb the name

Afternoon tea set for 2, but the portion was quite big, it can be shared between 3

Everything was fantastic, this is the most truly scrumptious afternoon tea in the world.
Very reasonable price considering the quality of food, the nice ambience and the warm service.

Dave bistro bar grill

The bistro is located at ground floor, 1 utama, same row to the papa-rich in old wing.
They serve wide variety of pasta, pizza and of course alcohol.
They has a standard bar atmosphere, simple setting with dim light.
As we're a bit feeling sick from eating meat lately, me and my partner we both ordered pasta ourselves. Mine was aglio olio spaghetti with mix seafood while my partner tried the tomato sauce spaghetti with beef meatball.

beef meat ball was pretty nice

pic quality due to my poor technique, to be improved

Restaurant Kung Jung

Korean barbecue, refers to the Korean method of grilling beef, pork, chicken or seafood. And they are usually served with free of charge traditional Korean small side dishes. The dishes normally included kimchi, tofu, potato salad and vegetables. You will be served by the staff, the well-trained staff will expertly grill the meat to ensure that it was cooked to it perfection. Charcoal block is normally used to cook the meat.

Kung Jung restaurant is located at PNB Darby park, jalan ampang. This is the korean restaurant which i highly recommended, primarily because the food is very good.

This is not the first time I having Korean food. I've tried the Doarae once, it was not as tempting as it sound. Their beef was too dry and hard for me but the chicken was quite tender. The best beef I've ever had was at Da On restaurant which is located at 6th floor, pavillion. If you happen to be there, pls try the tongue. I felt yucky like you when I first heard about it, but it was surprisingly attractive. But in terms of side dishes and overall aspect, Kung Jung restaurant is still the best for me.

Thinking of the Korean food in Korean street next time.

Kennedy's restaurant

This casual American style restaurant is located in Kota damansara, opposite the cheechah restaurant. It's quite small and not many customer.
The place decor is fun with American wallpaper, comics and T-shirt ( low cost decoration I suppose)
We're aim for the lamb chop and Chicken chop at first as we heard a good review about them. But we're attracted by the promotion set recommended by the waiter. So end up we ordered the grilled fish set and pork ribs. The grilled fish set came with the mushroom soup, ice lemon tea and dessert. It's cost less than RM20.

Soup of the day

The interior

BBQ grilled fish, served with salad and fries, You can't go wrong with the homemade BBQ sauce, it would be perfect for anything.

Pork Ribs

I wasn't too keen on pork, however I was very surprised by how tasty the hearty BBQ pork ribs turned out to be!

Dessert-honey pudding

Imagize how much will your meal cost if you have standard charted credit card

Our dinner bill was only about RM50.
The attentive and friendly staff, price point and quaint ambience really worth a second visit.
We had such a excellent dinner and I'll definitely be back again for the lamb chop and chic chop

Promotion: Sat 50% off on seafood and pastas; RM 6.90 lunch deal on Tuesday- Friday

DIY French Manicure

If you can't afford to pay a professional manicure, you can do it yourself at home. Now you can have a pretty looking nail without spending your hard-earned cash. Im sick of the time-consuming mani at nail saloon. If you're just like me, have neither time nor patient for the more than 1 hour mani/pedi... Just try to do it yourself at home. You can still watch the tv or do googling while waiting for the nail color to be dried out.
For me, I particularly love French manicure rather than the other nail art like flower... And I feel like beads and stones made me a totally handicapped....haha

All the tools you need are :
Base coat
Nail polish( any color)
Glitter color
Top coat

Start by applying a base-coat to protect the nail and provide a smooth surface to work on.
Then the apply the colour you like at the very top of the nail,
It might be a little bit messy, you can just cover the imperfect finishing edges with the glitter polish
At last, apply the clear top coat and voila, You have a home made French manicure.

There are variety choices of nail art sticker nowadays that are even much easier to use. Just base color+ sticker+ top coat will do a nice and flawless manicure for you.

Oversize eyeglass

In the recent few years, there are increasing number of individuals starting to pursue something retro and vintage. More and more people are keen on trendy yet big retro eyeglasses. Especially young people nowadays wearing oversize frame glasses has been a fashionable trend. Some who has no vision problem even wearing the frame without lenses. And they probably posses more than 1 pair of spec

My advice is don't follow the trend blindly... Always opt for the perfect eyeglass that compliment your style or outfit. ;)
