Restaurant Jin Xuan

I love having dim sum for breakfast on weekend because I have plenty of time sipping tea and feasting on the savory bite-sized delicacies.
The fully cooked and ready-to-serve dim sum dishes are usually carted around the restaurant for customers to choose their orders while seated at their tables, I enjoyed this as well. Restaurant Jin xuan has many branches in KL and Klang valley. When everyone is lining up to get table you know the place is good!

Godiva cafe

Godiva chocolatier is a manufacturer of premium Belgium chocolates. It owns and operates more than 450 retail boutiques and shops worldwide. Godiva truffe are one of the most beloved chocolates the world over. The smooth flavor with a special cocoa aroma is the ultimate enjoyment for the chocolate lover.
Godiva pavillion KL is the only Godiva cafe in Malaysia. It's located just outside the Tiffany & Co. The place gets crowded, so prepare  to wait  for a table on weekend.

The chocolates prices by weight, not by individual pieces. So it came out could be really expensive for such a high reputation shop. But these little gems really blew me away.  I could see these little things are made with a lot of love, and passion. So yes, these truffles are worth every cent.

Hot godiva milk chocolate (RM16) & Hot godiva dark chocolate (RM16)
I prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate because it's less sweet and has more intense chocolate flavor

Godiva  Chocolate cake (RM15). Needless to say, smoothest and richest ever!

Mont D'amour Fraise Des Bois (RM67/ 100gram)

Godiva also produces seasonal and limited-edition chocolates with special packaging for all major holidays. My sis bought this beaded egg with 16 pcs chocolates inside as a souvenir.

Beaded egg (RM 230)

Chocolate spread (RM40)

She can't wait!

If you want succulent chocolate, this place is for you! In addition to chocolate offerings they have cookies, chocolate bars and macarons which were so good. I'd also recommend the Truffe traditionnelle if you prefer the purest chocolate and Truffe Cherne Brulee which has caramel filling.

Kampachi

Kampachi by hotel equatorial has been recognized as one of the top five restaurants in Malaysia by the Miele Guide for 2011/2012 edition. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Kampachi has been listed in the Miele Guide, Asian edition since 2008.

We each ordered a set for ourselves and all sets are served with soup and fruits. The price is typical of any high end Japanese restaurant. The food quality here is not not always consistent as I remember I was really impressed with the freshness of the sashimi on the last visit. The raw fishes are still good this time round but I found the rice way too dry for me.

Soba/ Udon & Oyakodon (RM42) - Noodles with deep-fried soft shell crab, mini sliced chicken and onion over rice.

Chirashi Don (RM50) -Assorted raw fish over vinegared rice.

Sushi Bento (RM50) - Bento box with assorted sushi and sashimi with grilled eel.

Soba/ Udon and chirashidon ( RM50) - Noodles with deep-fried prawns and raw fish on vinegared rice.

Soba mori (RM33) - 5 types of soba which are plain soba, yomogi soba, ume soba, goma soba and cha soba. A perfect light meal for a hot summer day.
